I am directed by the Official Receiver to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 3rd instant, and of the enclosures therewith.

In reply I am to inform you that a Receiving Order in Bankruptcy was made against the above-named debtor on the 26th ultimo, but that he has not been adjudged bankrupt, and that the question of the payment to the debtor of his pensions is not one in which the official Receiver is in a position to intervene.

So far as the official Receiver is aware the debtor has practically no source of income apart from his pensions
